ProMoT Test Results (release 0.8.3)

The numbering for test cases corresponds with the numbers in testplan.
Each test result should contain

• the name of the test person,
• the date of the actual testing,
• the number of the build revision,
• w/o development mode and
• the type and version of the operating system.

Test of Jeremy (19.07.2010):
ProMoT snapshot 9175 on OpenSuse 11.2 (Linux-Kernel 2.61.31.12-0.2-desktop, gnome 2.28.2, Compiz 0.7.8 as Window-Manager
using plusdeps (java version "1.6.0", Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0-b105), Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0-b105, mixed mode))

-> Menus behave crazy (do not open, are no attached to the JFrame, ...)
-> Now using: java version "1.6.0_17", OpenJDK Runtime Environment (!IcedTea6 1.7.3) (suse-2.1.1-i386), OpenJDK Client VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode)
-> Menus are OK

• Visual Inspection Test 22: changed properties are not recognized as modification
• Exporting html for the logical toymodel (whole-model class) fails -> BAD PARAM: 'and_2_2' "visibility"; after changing the class of the slot to 'and_3' the export works fine. Fixed with [9260].

  Issues:
• Test 16: Export GIF and GIF-icon: Export takes to long: module 'whole_model' 55 sec, module 'cell' 270 sec (only on pc793 (Ubuntu 10.04?))
• Test 21: Drag an edge from "adapter0" to "adapter1", undo, redo action: Update only after refresh (F5), after some undo/redo following debug message in console appears "debug: Removing link activinput1_adapter0input parallel to link: activinput1_adapter0input"
• Test 25: (Open 'test1', rename terminal 'in_term_3' to 'in_term_4', then rename terminal back to original name, save and close, than) open 'test-outer', create links (all three links are found), all three links are created but after a second link from 'in_term_3' to 'out_term_3' disappears.

  Issues:
• Overall performance slow, e.g. zooming, interactive tasks; not clear why, maybe a 10.04 issue
• Test 10: if reaction edge has no bend point the final reaction box in cna is placed near the source node of the reaction but should be placed near the target node of the reaction. Fixed with [9250].
