ProMoT Build Page

This page is dedicated to the ProMoT build procedure. It is slightly different for Linux and Windows builds.

Linux

• Check out sources from subversion repository:

  $ svn co svn+ssh://svn/var/lib/svn/PromotDiva/Promot/trunk .
  

• Adapt settings in build.mpi, use different prefix for private build.
• Building ProMoT:

  $ ./build.mpi
  

• ProMoT is now installed in directory prefix.

Windows

The build procedure under Windows XP is described in the file 'build_notes_wxp.txt' attached to this page. Currently it is performed on the virtual machine 'build-wxp'. Call that machine by:

$ rdesktop -u promot -f build-wxp
